Wow, what incredible stories!! This chapter really gave us the feel of being there, learning of the muddy roads and the thatch floors in the huts... and SEEING the photos!! Love to see more photos!!
Also, you guys picked a beautiful spot to talk to us. The landscape and scenery there is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Wow... that's all I can muster. SO incredible! I'll admit it... I'm jealous. =) I am really excited you all are experiencing such an amazing view of God in Thailand.
I was reading in 1 Samuel this morning and really loved Hannah's prayer, so I'll share.
"My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance.
There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed.
The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength.
Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry hunger no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away.
The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.
The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.
For the foundations of the earth are the LORD's; upon them he has set the world.
He will guard the feet of his saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness.
It is not by strength that one prevails; those who oppose the LORD will be shattered. He will thunder against them from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed."
This God is the One you represent.
Way to go Team Thailand!! I'm so proud of all of you!
Powerful...great insight through media...gotta admit that I have never been led even a tiny bit to go on a mission trip. But, this blog makes me long to experience Him in the ways He is showing Himself to this Team and to serve Him wherever He leads.....thanks for taking the time to share....camera boy we love you...
Exciting to hear what God is doing through you guys! My prayer for you this afternoon is that you would throw off everything that hinders you and run with perseverance... fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). Don't grow weary or lose heart.

I cant wait to hear more and cant wait for me to sleep only two more nights and see each of you!! My prayer for you guys today is that you would not forget. Wow!! What incredible stories!! Thank you for sharing so many details and pictures! It really helps us connect to all that you guys are experiencing. It was super cool to see you Laura! :-) We miss you so much!! I especially appreciated hearing how God is working through your life. Obedience to God, parents, and all those in authority is a vital component to having a deep, intimate relationship with God. I know God is going to use you, and your teammates, in mighty ways for His Kingdom! Love you lots! Mom
How powerful our God is! What an inspiration to hear the mighty ways God is moving through you! I'm so excited to hear that God is teaching you so many different things and that you are open to respond. Can't wait to see you all and hear about all the things you have learned. See you in a couple of days!
These stories are way cool and part of me longs to be there with you, but if I were, i'd be missing te incredible things God is doing through the middle school team here in Fort Worth! We had an awesome time this morning at Unity Park with the homeless. The girls set up a salon and did nails all morning...so cool to watch!!! Some of the guys hung out and played basketball and met some neat guys!
God has had you guys on my heart all day today! Praying for ya'll enjoy some down time, but continue to love each other through the travel time home. It's easy to let your guard down and become vulnerable when your tired.
